What level of English do I need to join this programme?

You need to have an A2 level of English. This course will train you to master professional English at a B1 level. This course is also suitable for B1-level students who want to refine their business English skills further. This programme will leave you in the position to start our Level 2 Professional English programme, which covers B2.
As a rule, if you can understand most of what I say in my videos with subtitles, you are ready for this course.

When does the programme start and finish?

The programme has 12 modules. We release 1 module each week. The first module is released on the 20th of May 2024. The final module is released on the 5th of August 2024. The final exam is released the following week. After that, you have lifetime access to the course materials.

Can I study at my own pace?

Yes. You have lifetime access to the course content. You can keep the course materials forever. You have 4-12 months’ access to the course community, depending on your plan, so you have a minimum of 4 extra weeks after the final module is released.

Does the programme include live classes?

There are optional live Q&A lessons with my team of teachers if you select the Platinum Plan. Will a teacher answer questions and clarify doubts in the Bronze Plan?

Yes! In the course community, you can ask questions and clarify doubts, but the teachers will not offer a correction or feedback service.

Is there a final exam?

Yes, there is an optional final exam. It can be repeated as many times as you need. It is released the week after the final module.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion when you complete all of the course lessons. You can use the certificate to prove your attendance on a B1 Professional English course. You can also share your final exam result, which you receive via email.

How much time do I need to dedicate per day/week?

You need to dedicate at least 2 study sessions per week. To make maximum progress, we recommend dedicating a minimum of 4 hours per week. You can study a little every day if that suits you better.

I already have a B1 level. Will I still benefit from this course?

Yes! This course is very different to most B1 programmes. We look at so much more than just CEFR grammar. This programme is designed to set you up for life in the workplace. Level 1 is the first of 3 levels and covers the foundations that you need to move on to levels 2 and 3.

When will levels 2 and 3 be available?

Yes! Level 2 (B2) is scheduled for September. Level 3 (C1) is scheduled for January.

What is the minimum age for this programme?

Yes, you must be over the age of 16 to join this programme. If we find out that a student is under 16, we are legally obliged to remove them from the programme. This is for child protection reasons.
