The basic form can be found as the form of the verb as listed in the dictionary.  

The main verb describes what the subject does or feels.   

Study the following verbs.

Rosa is a seamstress BE
Joe went to the store. GO
Miguel moved to New York in 2005/ MOVE
Loan saw the shore of Lake Michigan from the airplane. SEE
The instructor told the student to study for the exam. TELL
The guests didn't eat all the food at the party, so we ate it today. EAT
I have written a note to my son's teacher. WRITE
Susan read the book last summer. READ
I'll send my father an e-mail today.  SEND
